Professional Bio - Anissa Patman

Prior to starting PATMAN Human Resources Consulting and Benefits Communication Services (PHRC), Anissa Patman was Assistant Vice President, Relationship Management, for The Princeton Retirement Group, a subsidiary of Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc.  During a seven year career with The Princeton Retirement Group, she managed millions in assets for designated accounts specifically company-sponsored Defined Contribution and Defined Benefit Plans such as 401(k), 403(b), non-qualified and qualified retirement plans.

Anissa was also the Assistant Executive Director of The Foundational Skills and Development Center (FSDC) a non-profit organization dedicated to educating children on personal finance.  Anissa focused on the organizations Human Resources Organizational Structure and also assisted in facilitating personal finance and business etiquette workshops.

Subsequent to being a part of the Princeton Retirement Group Relationship Management Team, Anissa had a ten year career with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, LLC.; there she held many positions including Assistant Director of Human Resources and Corporate Benefits Manager.   The Corporate Benefits Manager position allowed her to interact and facilitate benefit programs to over 15,000 employees including executive and senior management. 

During Anissa's tenure at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, she played a vital role as a team member of The Ritz-Carlton Learning Institute conducting speaking engagements to various business organizations on employee retention, customer satisfaction, total quality management, hiring practices, etc.

Anissa’s dedication to achieving personal and professional success as well as helping others to achieve their potential comes from the teachings and love of her great-grandmother Ida M. Johnson who passed away in 2004.  Her grandmother taught her at an early age how to survive not only in business, but life.  Anissa's book and seminar series [based on her grandmother’s teachings] entitled – Grandma’s Principles is due to be published in Spring 2009.

Anissa believes in community commitment and therefore has been a member or an affiliate of various community/business organizations such as a volunteer for Literacy Volunteers of America, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), Women in Pensions (WIPS) and International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP).  Anissa is a extremely meticulous, confident and genuine speaker who consistently enhances and enriches the lives of her audience through positive affirmations.
